January 28-30 2011, Superstition Airpark is taken over by hundreds of electric aircraft. If you have the slightest interest in electric powered aircraft, this is the event to attend. The site is maintained by the Arizona Model Aviators, and has covered pit area and 800 feet of runway for your model to land. Click Here if you would like find out more information about this event. Orange County Modelers Association is an association of twelve clubs that maintain one flying site near the Irvine Lake on the edge of Black Starr canyon. OCMA holds monthly meetings that consists of OCMA Board members, and delegate representatives from each club. This month the meeting topics consisted of ways to get new members flying quicker, field layout changes that improve the field as well as safety and dates for their yearly safety meeting. Every year, OCMA requires that all members attend the safety meeting so that everyone is up to date on the latest rule changes.
