Lawrence Tougas has been modeling most of his life. He got started at an early age with his Father, and has been enjoying it ever since. He has participated in free flight control line and radio control modeling. His current emphasis is on radio control modeling with an interest in precision aerobatics and scale aircraft. He was elected AMA District X Vice-President in 2010, and currently serves in that capacity. In addition to modeling he is a full-scale pilot and holds a commercial multi-engine pilot's license. Lawrence graduated from the University of California with a degree in Aeronautical Engineering and has worked in the Aerospace Industry for 23 years. He currently serves as the Principal Boeing 767 Structures Engineer for a major domestic airline. When he's not flying he is trying to ride herd on three teenage daughters.
